How to turn procrastination into productivity.
REMINDER; You are not a procrastinator; you just have a habit to procrastinate. Am I right? The good news is habits can be replaced by new habits. Did you know the number one factor that stops us from doing what we have to do it stress? So, let’s say you had the intention to follow up on a job application with a phone call. When you sat down to do this your body felt anxious, your mind overwhelmed and so you decided to look at dog photos on Instagram instead. Before you know it, it’s 5 pm, too late to call and you feel like sh*t about not getting something important to you done. Does this sound familiar? I encourage you to recognise when you mind drifts off from something you are trying to get done. Recognise when the stress is kicking in and acknowledge it. Be aware that something is causing you stress and accept it. Take a few deep breaths, jump up and down or do some star jumps.
